Tip of the Month --
February 2012
MAC
Intuit previously had a stripped-down Quicken Essentials for Mac which it improved recently but had declined to rewrite the last full version of Quicken for the Mac to work with Lion. A deluge of complaints from Mac Quicken users prompted a reversal of that decision and the company says it will now make the latest rewrite fully available for Lion.
PC
If you want an easy way to see not only what fonts are installed on your computer in Windows 7 but what they look like, simply go to Control Panel/Fonts. You will see a thumbnail icon and the letters Abg in that particular font. To test ones you think you may like, open a new document window on the side and play with them.
Remember, you can always find old tips in the Tips archive. (see link at the bottom right of this yellow box.)
